History and overview of BOSCH Aerotwin Plus wipers:
Founded in 1886, Bosch operates in more than 60 countries. Bosch is one of the leaders in automotive components, and is the creator of systems such as ABS and ESP.
The Bosch Aerotwin Plus windshield wipers are a variant of Bosch’s flagship Aerotwin series, complete with a set of 6 adapters for 10 different types of mounts. Unlike the Bosch Aerotwin Wiper Blades with pre-installed specific mounts, they are a bit more complicated to install, due to the need to install the right adapter. In addition, the aerodynamic performance of the Wiper Blades is slightly lower, due to the design of the adapter and the use of a universal symmetrical spoiler.
The symmetrical spoiler prevents the Wipers from pulling away from the glass at high speeds by the oncoming air flow. It looks like a full-length ridge in the center of the Wipers. Symmetrical spoiler is less effective than asymmetrical one, but it is more universal. These wipers can be installed without risk on cars with right- and left-hand drive, classic and hinged wiper system.
